Here is another photo of my blue bags hanging, this is a great example to show that some trees are large enough to with-stain two taps, this also shows how some days the bags are almost spilling sap, which is the reasoning for having to collect sap multiple times per day.
Here is a photo of my evaporator when I
In this photo I am pictured hammering a tap into the tree.
This is an example of our finished product, this is the smallest size of syrup we sell and it is 2oz. and we charge $5.
In this photo It shows me hanging the blue bag in Mount Morris after tapping the tree.
These are our Maple Pecans and they are $3 per bag.
In this picture we where saying goodbye to all the friends and workers that worked at the Sinnissippi Tree Farm who had shown us how fun it was to help out or community.
This is a photo of our sugar house taken from our driveway, on the left side there is a door and that is where customers enter to buy our farm products if they wish to come to the farm, I use the honor system in our sugar house and people can come and go as they please.
Showing at Badger Kickoff Classic
This is the first time I was ever on Yankee Doodle
This is during the Ogle County Fair. The Judge talking to me.
Getting a picture with Koda by the Badger Kickoff Classic sign
This is an example of when the Maple Tree starts to bud and that is the sign to pull the taps, if we continued to collect sap after the tree has budded, the sap will have a gross after taste.
Here is a photo of me looking at the new hybrid evaporator pan with my dad that I had just bought from Smokey Lanes Maple Products in Hilbert, WI.
