  Welcome to Oregon FFA website. We are an agricultural science program located in Oregon, IL. Our chapter has 86 active AET student accounts and 1 teacher.  

Our students are developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.

This is an example of when the Maple Tree starts to bud and that is the sign to pull the taps, if we continued to collect sap after the tree has budded, the sap will have a gross after taste.

This is what our sap bags look like, the perks of using the blue bags instead of sap buckets is the fact that I can see the sap when I check my sap route.
In this photo it shows the process of putting the blue bags together. You first take the metal band and then tuck the blue bag around the metal band and then slide the handle over the band.
This is my booth at the Oregon Farmers Market in Oregon,IL that I set up almost every Saturday, we get great business particularly at this market.

Good Evening, with current weather trends, here are the current announcements for Oregon FFA members: 1. All Record Books need to be finished by January 30th at noon. Mr Nelson is printing them off starting at 12:30 for our Mock Night. 2. Please text Mr. Nelson to sign up for a time for the Chapter Proficiency Night held at Oregon High School Ag Room between 5pm-8pm in 20 min increments. 3. State Degree Candidates: Our New night to work on state degrees will be Tuesday February 5th from 3pm-7pm. 4. The Parliamentary Procedure Team needs to meet Friday February 1st during Study Hall. 5. There is a Growing Leaders Committee Meeting Friday during Study Hall to Plan FFA Week. If you want to help plan, please get a pass from Mr. Nelson or text Megan 6. If you are interested in Going to the 212 Conference Feb 8-9th in Schaumburg , please let Mr. Nelson know ASAP 7.Our Monthly Newsletter will be going out to each member and supporter by the end of the week.
